MULADHARA - FIRST CHAKRA
The first chakra is located at the base of the spine and is attached to the entire body of the spine. It rotates most slowly from all the other chakras and shines in red. The first chakra is a earth chakra and is associated with material things. It regulates the physical body and is responsible for our financial condition and our home.
The first chakra is also called the root chakra because it is our root or our relationship with the Earth. When we make rituals for energy grounding, we mainly use the first chakra, so she must be full with pure energy.
Muladhara is directly linked to the adrenal glands, thighs, spine, saddle nerve, colon, anus, bones, teeth, legs, elbows, soles, skin and blood, regulates the urinary system, the bone system and the blood system.
When the chakra is balanced we have material prosperity, stability, health, vitality and the ability to release from old patterns.
In an unbalanced first chakra we experience fear of life, denial of life, materialism, stiff notions, accumulation of belongings, greed, pessimism, instability, nervousness, escape from reality, too much anxiety about the financial situation, poverty, overweight or underweight, back and leg pain, constipation, diarrhea, lack of energy, fatigue, exhaustion.
The function of the first chakra is grounding, and its demon is fear.
