MAGIC CIRCLE OF SALT FOR RITUALS

Salt is an essential nutrient for the human body that supports nerve function, muscle contractions and maintains fluid balance.

Apart from its practical use, salt also has medicinal and spiritual significance.

Salt has the ability to reduce inflammation, help with depression and poor sleep, improve asthma and high blood pressure.

The use of salt in rituals, such as sprinkling during ceremonies or forming protective barriers, demonstrates its importance in warding off negative energies and evil spirits.

We can sprinkle salt in the corners of the house or at the entrance to ward off negative energy. If we put our hand, with a little salt in it, under running water, we purify our body from negative emotion and diseases.

When performing rituals, it is advisable to make a circle of salt before starting. This circle protects us from negative external influences and preserves the connection between body and spirit during the ritual.

A magic circle of salt for rituals is made as follows. We start from the North and rotate clockwise, sprinkling enough salt on the ground to make a solid, uninterrupted line. The circle should be big enough for us to sit in. During the sprinkling, we can say a prayer, call for protection, or invoke the powers of the respective directions. North - earth, South - fire, East - air, West - water. After we are done with the ritual, the circle is broken in a counterclockwise direction, and the salt need to be swept away with a broom.
